Fine tune on the numbers-

After looking at that chart, taking out the variance and calculating in some missing figures I get this:

  • 32 F = 1629
  • 77 F = 2000
  • 158 F = 2784
  • 212 F = 3329
  • 221 F = 3498
  • 230 F = 6404
  • 248 F = 3817
  • 275 F = 4048

If you were to splice in, say for example a 444 ohm resister it should make it work like this:

  • + 5 F and below will not allow O/D or lock up
  • 215 F will do a 4-3 down shift, lock the converter and select tow/haul. Should this happen 4th will not be allowed until 185 F
  • 230 F will light the warning lamp

Seems to me this would be a good mod for added safety.

Might even provide better mpg getting into lock up sooner when cold.

I might just have to try this AND add a gauge.

should be-120° C (248° F) 3684 to 3950 ohms

probably, i corrected one thing in the chart, but other than that, it was a direct cup/paste

here is a direct word for word c/p from the 06

-40° C (-40° F) 1094 to 1176 ohms

0. 0° C (32° F) 1587 to 1672 ohms

25° C (77° F) 1960 to 2040 ohms

70° C (158° F) 2709 to 2860 ohms

0° C (212° F) 3284 to 3500 ohms

120° C (120° F) 3684 to 3950 ohms

150° C (302° F) 4110 to 4450 ohms
