transmission Level

OK-------Not sure what to do-------I changed transmission intercooler line with one that a port in it for a sending unit and probably lost maybe a quart if that so after I added the fluid------a little at a time----I am confused on what I am seeing on the stick.

When I check it it is on level ground in neutral and I am reading low even after adding almost a quart when it is in park it is over the full max line so I am not for sure if it is full or low.

I took it out for a test drive got everything warm and same results.

Any ideas??

You have to check the ATF levels:



A) when at normal temps (preferred, not required)

B) RUNNING in NEUTRAL.



You might be surprised how many people don't know to check the level while running in neutral

whered ya get the transmission line with fitting?

I got mine from www.massdiesel.com-------Ask for Scott

What it is is a stock transmission line with a T fitting for the sensor.

You will have to send your stock line back or pay core charge.
