The fittings on the transmission are both the same. At NAPA they sell the Weatherhead fitting, 68X8X4, which is a pair of compression fittings that only costs a few bucks.

There are also a couple of fittings on the bottom of the cooler tank that is under the exhaust manifold. I think the NPT end of those fittings is one size smaller than the ones in the transmission. Best to check that instead of relying on my faulty memory.

What I am looking for is the size of the fittings that go from the line into the transmission.

Like the old 727 Used a 5/16 inverted flare by 1/4 " MPT.

What fits this RH47?

Thanks

1/4 NPT sounds right for the two fittings on the transmission. The ones on the cooler are the next size smaller I think. Anyway, while you are at it you should replace all four fittings. They all will eventually leak.

I think it`s 1/2 inverted flare but the trans ports are 2 different pipe sizes. As I recall, one is 1/4 and the other is 3/8 butI`m not positive.
