I going to run transmission lines on the burb in the next couple of days and would like some opinions on what type of stuff to use. The factory stuff is way to expensive. 1/2" soft copper (L rated), rubber hose? No one seems to carry 1/2" steel.

Smart man, I got caught in Southern Alabama last winter and had to have it done at a D/C dealership. Cost me a bundle!!

It cost me about $50 I think for the fittings and hose, and a couple of hours time... and I got rid of those silly plastic clip fittings #ad
and also I routed the lines up out of the way much better than factory... so I feel better about it... ... this was all after the hanger right on the oil pan wore a hole in the line and it started praying ATF all over the place #ad
but I cought it in time. . #ad
so... all of you with auto's... check the tubeing hangers and make sure they are not rubbing!!! ... Jim
