I have a 94 3/4 ton that I replaced the stock transmission pressure line with one that has a temp sensor housing from DC. I put about 2500 miles on it and it started leaking. It cracked right next to the flared end which threads into the fitting on the transmission. I got a replacement, put it on and within 120 miles it started leaking. I haven't taken it off yet but if it is cracked what is causing this. My friend has a 98 with 3 spacers between the lines on his truck. Mine has none. Is vibration causing this? HELP!

retainers

If you do not have any retainers to hold the lines it could certainly lead to fracture. Go to the dealer and get at least three. Secure the lines to each other and there is supposed to be retainers secured to a couple of studs along the pan along the engine. I'm not sure is Napa or the like might have the the retainers as I always get mine OE. Hope this helps.
