Transmission model and axle ratio

This may be a dumb question but I got a service manual for my 05 manual 6 speed. In it they list several manual transmissions models. My question is how do I know what transmission I have and the same question about the axle ratio too. I have looked on the window sticker and the only info I can find is that it has a 11. 5" rear axle. Is any of this info list anywhere on the truck?

NV5600 reverse is up-right. G56 reverse is down-left.



NV5600 rusty steel case. G56 shiny aluminum case.

there should also be a sticker on the glove box door that has the axle ratio on it

When I was shopping for my 04. 5 I found out the 2006's have 3. 73 for straight drive and 4. 10 for automatic. this proved to be the same for the 04. 5 so I would assume same between the years of 04-06

G56 only available with the 3. 73s. 48RE is available with 3. 73 or 4. 10s.
