Been trying to troubleshoot a fickle transmission. Does anyone know what the shiftpoints for the 47re in mph are. under light acceleration it shifts smoothly tru 1-4, then around 40mph it hickups, almost like the tc wants to lock up, but then decides it does't, before it locks up smoothly at 45 mp. Always at 40 mph, only under light acceleration, any heavier foot any it doesn't happen. Electrical load, temps, a/c don't have any affect. It never seems to do the 3-4-3 shift/tq unlock that people have problems with. shifts smoothly otherwise.

Have cleaned all ground connections, wraped groundwire to pass. batt. box in foil, installed DTT noise filter. will recalibrate apps as soon as I find my Voltmeter. Anybody have any idea's what might be cousing this behaviour???

Thanks Pete

Before I modded my transmission, it would hit 2nd gear at about 10-12 mph, 3rd at about 20-25 depending on throttle. And the TC would lock in at 48 mph and stay locked until the speed dropped below 38 mph.

Now with the stuff in my sig, it is all different. With idle only, it shifts all the way up thru 3rd in about 150-200 feet on a level road. With a very light throttle and hold the rpm at 1400, it will hit 3rd gear at about 25 and the TC locks up at 38.

I really like the new setup. It seems like it always "knows" what gear I need no matter the speed when it comes time to "go faster". No hunting, extremely solid shifts if pushing the go pedal. Light shifts if you stay under 1400 rpm.

I also have a 02 mine does kinda the same thing if I understand what you are saying. It akmost feels like it cuts out for a split sec. Mine will do it in 3rd gear at around 35 or 40 and sometime a split sec before it shifts into 3rd or 4th. If you figure out what is wrong I would love to know. It has been acting up for about 18 months. I haven't been able to figure it out either.
