Archived transmission not upshifting!Help!!

got in truck, went to town everything fine. took off again, and did'nt wont

to shift to 3rd. shifted to neu. and back to drive and it shifted fine. stopped

at stop sign, took off and same thing would not shift even up to 2600rpms,

put it in N-D and shifted ok. started up the mountains and can't get it to

shift up from 2nd, no matter what. pulled over, checked fluild level, good, smells

and looks good. checked TV cable, ok. did a apps reset and cleaned the

terminals. they were clean from recent new batteries. I limped it here at the

house 30 mph. Any clues to why it doesn't seem to even want to shift up

out of 2nd? Put in drive and it starts out in 1st and shifts great to 2nd, then?

Valve body??

I had a 48re which didn't want to shift up. It was in the valve body, I believe the govenor pressure solenoid. Just a thought. Anyone else??

It is going to ATS tommorow!

Just for reference, I replaced the output speed sensor, no help...

replaced governor solenoid and sensor, no help... went to dealer *******

for a new pcm, l talked to the service guy first and ask him to try and

pull any more codes, and NOTHING else... he assured me that he could

tell me everything I needed to know!!! I waited there at the dealer maybe

2 hours, and all of a sudden I see to kids taken my truck out for a test

drive??? I waited the process, and yeah, they told me I needed a new

tc and transmission rebuild, but no codes for me!! I threw in the towel and

called ATS here and they are booked for over a week. . But taken the

wifes truck is down with transmission problems and we live in the mountains,

they will do mine tommorow!!! Oo.

After researching these forums, for those of you who want your mods. ,

just take your wife with you to the dealer *******!!! :-laf :-laf :-laf

I did'nt realize, until searching these forums, there was a trusted place

in Arvada,Co just down the hill from us. Hats off to these guys

at ATS, for excellent customer service!
