What are the overheat conditions? Weather, load, mountains, desert... etc.
How do you know it's overheating? Gauges, blown hoses, melting??? Did you check the fluid?
How many miles on truck?

That's the problem 4 extra cylinders in a V configuration the trans can't handle it!

We have to know what you are doing with it(the truck) to help you out with the trans.

Have you verified high temps with infrared heat gun?
