Transmission Pan & Gauge Installation

I just ordered a Mag-Hytec Double Deep Transmission Pan, a Westach Universal Transmission Temperature Gauge and an Autometer Triple Full Pillar Gauge mount for my '97 3500 12 valve. Is there anything I should know regarding the installation of these items? I would sure appreciate some input on this. Thanks.

If you search the archives you will find more info than you can read on these subjects. One thing I suggest is that you NOT install your AT temp sender in the pan port, it makes for very inaccurate readings. You will also find much info on alternatives to the pan mount in the archives.
