I was looking at transmission pans and I'm curious.

What makes Mag Hytec better than others?

Double Deep = 4 extra quarts.

Double Deep Mag Hytec is ~$250.

TCI $150

B&M $135

Unless you tow heavy all the time and keep your temps down, I wouldn't even with an after market pan. The transmission runs cooler than a stock trans does as well. My oil is always cool towing or empty. Rarely over 160*.

In lockup I don't normally see over 140*. Out of lockup, like backing up, or driving in town, I've seen it hit 240*

I got a PML pan in the mail yesterday. Very nice!

Now the little magnet on the plug is enough of a magnet? I'm asking because the stock donut magnet is huge compared to this little guy. I was thinking of perhaps putting the stock on as well and attaching it with some RTV or JB Weld.
