Recently, when vehicle has been sitting overnite in cold temperature (low 20's), transmission won't go into drive. Will go into reverse, but when shifting into drive position, will take a while before engaging.
Fluid has been changed routinely.

JF,

If it works fine after it finally gets in gear, it's probably the normal behaviour for a Mopar torqueflite. I'm so accustomed to it behaving like that that I don't really pay a lot of attention to it. I just put it in gear and let it idle until it decides to move. Then I leave. My Dad's '63 Plymouth factory hot rod did the same thing. The torque converter drains overnight and it takes a little bit to fill it again. It's worse if you park with the front end up hill like in a driveway, especially if it's cold.
