I have a Goerend transmission in my 94. I moved my snow plow over to this truck last winter. The problem I am having is cold weather related. If my truck sits outside and I do not let it sit and warm up, my transmission will kick the gear selector into the opposite direction I am trying to go. If I put the selector in D, when I go to move, the selector will kick up into R. If I try to back up and put the selector in R, the selector will kick up into D. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks.

Don't know much about transmissions, but call Dave,he'll talk with you, he'll most likely have an answer for you. Could be an issue like motor mounts or transmission mount that are letting the torque from the Cummins twist the entire drivetrain and move your shifting linkage. But I question it doing it it both D and R ??? I'm driving a Goerend also, and if I had an issue I would call Dave first.
