Transmission problems

2007 4x4 6.7 stuck in 4th gear. It has park and reverse and neutral but only has 4th in forward. When pulling gear shift down soon as it hits neutral it puts square boxes around all the gears. Code is showing P0750 shift solenoid A. I have put in new and still have problem any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just because it has a shift solenoid code does not mean it has a bad part. What did you do to diagnose?

A friend done a read out on it and that’s what it showed so had it changed and still got the problem. Do you know what could be causing it?
