When I shift my auto into neutral it still wants to move ever so slightly forward, I can depress accel. and it will creep alittle faster. I have moved the gear selecter up and down(ie. out of adjustment) and does not help. I was wandering if anybody eles noticed this or if you can check it next time in truck. It seams that valve body is diverting fluid to forward clutch packs in neutral. Possible bad or sticking spool??? I have also noticed it is alittle worse when transmission is cold.
Any commans appreciated. Scott

Actualy i have been told that is a good thing. Means your clutch pacs have plentyof meat left on them. I know every transmission i have had build for my Barraucuda(999 chryslers) has grabbed in nuetral.

Thanks bad340fish, hope it is o. k. , I remember my Dart doing this sometimes, only at a higher rpm, it has @ 5k stall converter. Love to launch it with transmission brake, wish my truck would launch as hard and the same 60 ft. time. Maybe someday!

My auto does that too. Seems normal to me.

If you really want that to stop, a few neutral drops should solve that problem.

Just kidding!
