I wonder a little bit about that. The ad claims it will fit '89 thru '95. Not so. The 47RH is used in the '94 and '95. It won't bolt up to the 1st gen without some mods. Then the 1st gen PCM won't work with the lock up TC.

yup. with the upgraded torque convertor too which was an additional 700 bucks. horrible customer service as well. not recommended. you get what you pay for.

6BT, I had mine done by a local rebuilder in Pittsburgh named Gillece. My major upgrades were a billet TC with single disk, and a modded VB. They built it based on my HP level and method of driving. They put in all new seals, frictions, and I had them replace the rear main seal, carrier bearing, and they found a bad U joint in the front shaft. Total came to around 2700. I had to go back for a small leak on the flare leading to the coolers, which I could have taken care of myself, but I had them check it all out just to be sure.

I`m around 250-290 i believe, though I havent dyno'd. I use a mobile (read: handheld) lockup switch on a momentary pushbutton, controlled by a relay, and it works great.

Here's their link, talk to Jim, he is the main guy there for rebuilding diesel trannys. .
