transmission question

I have an uncle that has a 93 ctd with the auto transmission, he was wanting to know if he can put a new 6 speed manual on it. I dont know if you can do it to these trucks or not. If you can do let me know where i can get the stuff to do it. Thanks.

Quick answer, yes. I am doing same conversion only with a 5-speed (NV4500 5-speed vs the NV5600 6-speed), and there are several others as well in the conversions forum. Here is the link to my own conversion thread - should glean some good info for you.
