Transmission question

How much money would it take to build a bulletproof Automatic Overdrive transmission for my W-350? Are there any other transmissions that would be easier to put in place of it that would be stronger than the original? My original transmission is leaking alot of fluid these days.

Almost any aftermarket, diesel oriented transmission will be better, stronger, and last longer than the original POS. Suncoast, DTT, Goerend (sp?) Bros, are just a few off the top of my head. Expect to spend $3-5000 for a good bulletproof transmission with good parts and a good warranty.
