Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
My cousin called me this morning about a problem he is having with his truck.
He has a 1995 CTD with a NV4500. 4x4. 33 inch tires, no life. He has 290k miles on the truck. He bought it used a couple years ago.
He said it is making a vibration and light growling noise. It only does it when it is in a gear. He thinks he is going to need a transmission. Could it maybe be just a driveshaft U joint? He said the clutch has started slipping lately just barely when he really gets into it. Power wise the truck is stock.
Any ideas? I know this isn't a lot to go off of. I just figured I would see if anyone has any ideas. He is pricing NV5600 swaps but I think the 4500 he has is probably fine.
