I want to bump up my horsepower to between 500-600. I plan to get a 62-14 HTT or I. I. , (or maybe a Relentless Artic Air setup) injectors, another muffler, air cleaner, TST Powermax CR w/ R49, ARP studs (I already have a Smarty with 90 HP setting) and anything else I need (suggestions?) I don’t tow but I don’t want to lose my option to tow if I want. The transmission works good now (for a stock one) and I’m planning to put a Suncoast valve body and torque converter and input shaft (suggestions? I’m going to call Suncoast up and get their advice (they answered the phone before!), never been able to get in touch with DTT or Gorend, left messages, etc. )

I’ll adjust my driving habits if necessary if this is a little marginal for the transmission modifications-I’m hoping if I maybe stay away from the boosted launches I can get some good mileage from this transmission.

If this is marginal for the transmission (the modifications for keeping it in one piece with 550 or so HP) do most of you think my transmission will live if I don’t do boosted launches? Or should I just put off any engine modifications until I can get a full billet (or insert description of transmission here) totally purpose built transmission? In this case do you think I could maybe sell the transmission I have w/ 21,000 miles onto offset the cost of another transmission or am I better off modifying the original low miles transmission?

How do people get in touch with Gorend bros and DTT? (S/ on)Do you have to leave a certain number of messages, if so how many-I know 2 or 3 messages each aren’t enough to get a return phone call. (S/ off)

Thanks for any advice-if I’m wishful thinking in hoping a transmission will last for 50,000 plus miles with these mods, I’d appreciate opinions!

DTT's number is 866-504-4002 open Monday thru Friday 9-5 pacific time... they are usually always there unless some type of inclimate weather or if you call on fridays during lunch the whole office goes at the same time. If not give me a call tomorrow 786-543-9176 and I will answer all of your questions.
