Hello all. For the record, this is Lawrence posting:
It has come to our attention that there are rumors flying around behind the scenes that we at Diesel Dynamics are not using DTT (Diesel Transmission Technology) products in our own high horsepower trucks.
Let me say this: At Diesel Dynamics, we use, install and service EXCLUSIVELY DTT transmission products. Both of our 500+ rear wheel horsepower trucks use these parts, and none other!
Further, at any time, we will remove and demonstrate this fact to ANYONE that wishes to put up $2500 to prove us wrong. You can stand right next to us as we remove the trans from either of our trucks and show you what is in it.
Also, we have never tested, installed or even seen any transmission components built by ATS (Automotive Transmission Specialists of Wheat Ridge Colorado), nor will we test or use them at ANY time in the future.
This is not a rant or flame. I am trying to set the record straight because I don't want anyone out there to be questioning our business practices. We WILL tell it to you straight, and we back it up.
Just for the record, prior to riding in DTT equipped trucks in early 2001, Diesel Dynamics had always owned manual shifted trucks for testing. In February, we sold our ETH and bought two automatic equipped trucks, both of which were outfitted with DTT products exclusively, and still are to this day. When you find the best, why change?
Sorry to take up your time, but I felt I needed to set the record straight.
