Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Transmission Selection Dilemma. Need your Technical input

Hello All,

I have tried the search option but did not find my answer.

I have a project going on and I am putting a 78 Dodge Ramcharger body on a 94 Ram 2500 12 valve NV4500 frame. What I want to do is to put the NV4500 into my 01 Ram 2500 and put my fully built 47RE trans into the 94. The Dilemma is What do I need to do to run the 47RE behind the 94 12 valve?

I am thinking that I would need to get from a 96-98 Ram the PCM, Wiring, and ????

What do you guys think?

You will end up with 2 projects to be code free and functional.Inmho the 01 will be very hard on that lil 5spd if you use the power it has.
