I am a newbee on this site. Also a newbee Dodge diesel owner.
I own a '99 2500, ext cab, shortbed, 214k miles, trans kit? Transmission was fixed/changed/rebuilt? at 170k.
When driving unloaded at 44-46 mph @ 1200 rpm it shifts down (from OD) then up, then down, etc. Cannot stop shifting irregularity until I accelerate above 50 mph or turn off OD. This is the only range that I have noticed this problem. I want this truck to tow a fifth wheel in a year or so for my retirement. Help.
