transmission shifting weird

When i have my edge drag on going up a slight incline, barely on the throttle my transmission seems to shift contiounsly between 3 and 4 or go in lockup and out of lockup. If i nail the fuel pedal then it downshifts and goes but if not it just continues to shift weird. Any suggestions or help. See my profile for transmission upgrades.
