Got my truck back yesterday. New Sun Coast converter, new governor solenoid and valve body kit installed.
The most noticeable differences:
-positive shifts (up and down)
-no 1-2-1-2 shifting anymore
-much better throttle response starting off
-much better reverse, especially noticeable backing my loaded trailer
-and the biggest surprise... ... . the howling that I though was the turbo on cold mornings is gone. It's 25 here this morning and the truck was quiet. I could hear the real turbo if I listened closely.
I towed my Grand Cherokee (with trailer, about 6,000 lbs) back from Atlanta for the break in run (100 miles) and the truck was so much more solid with starting off and shifting.
