that works for those with 4x4s. We differentially challenged folks dont have that option.

DC's solution was to install a 1/2" metal spacer plate to lower the carrier assembly to solve the problem.

If this was already posted I appologize for duplication of effort.

Be sure to check the condition of the universals as well... . this kind of problem can cause what's known as "progressive damage" ..... meaning that downstream parts suffer excessive wear and fail earlier than normal.
