They all do this. Some faster than others. Every automatic I've owned, and presently own, drains the convertor over time. It shouldn't be a daily thing, but over a week of sitting, completely normal. With DC transmissions, fluid does not flow in park, possibly the reason it is more noticed in our transmissions than others. Others that do flow in park, would never know.
A mentioned before, let it warm up in neutral while you set the mirrors, snik the seatbelt, pop in a CD and it will be just fine.
As an additional note, on the flip side, if you are idling and the trans is warm to hot, it is recommended to idle in neutral to allow fluid to flow through the cooler.
