Rail pressure?

I have a 06 quad short 4wd auto. I was pulling out of work, and slowed for a car, down to 5 mph, went to move and it took the trans a second to catch up! It just felt like nothing was there for a second. The trans also shifts weird some times to, hunt and peck going slow 25-30 mph. Do you think the trans is on the way out or is this normal for a 48re. I have read about control boxes from (ats example), would this help? When I am driving normally it is fine. Just every now and then it just acts up. 99% of the time it shifts firm and fast. I would welcome some imput? Thanks:confused:

Thats pretty normal, you confused it. :-laf

If you were accelerating and lifted off the throttle to slow for something then throttled up, the rpms started climbing, and there was a slight delay till you felt it pull again then that is pretty much what mine does on occasion. The rest of the time it is perfect.

What happens is the governor pressure drops when you lift off the throttle then when you get back on it it takes a bit to resynch speed, rpm's, and APPS readings to set the TV pressure correctly for the shifting. You get almost a hang shift or slip until everything comes back. Add something like the Smarty to it and it really gets confused. ;)

Something you live with until you reowrk the VB and tune it a bit better than the stock settings. :)
