Got an 01 auto with DTTs TQ,VB, input shaft, 150 edms and TST Comp.

Lately its been kicking in and out of 3rd and 4th when im just putting along. Now it will hardly shift into the upper gears. When it does all i have to do is step on it a little and it just slips so it seems. The transmission temp doesnt ever get hot 130-160* usually.

Do you guys thing its the overdrive unit, clutches, filter or maybe a plugged line somewhere. Any helpful suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jeremie

Make the call

Call Bill K at 866-504-4002 Check the ATF level, and use the lowest level you see on the dipstick. It should be within 1/4" of full line when cold.

Make sure all the linkage and cables are connected. Where are you getting the temp reading??

You have DTT TC, VB and a billet input?? and the rest of the internals are stock and not inspected/replaced??

Call Bill K. They are on Pacific time, open at 0900 PST, so 1200 EST.

Hope this helps Greg L

I will thanks.

The rest of the internals of the transmission are stock and reading is from the pan.

The levels are good. Ive checked them cold to make sure i had some in it and then warmed up in neutral with the parking break on.

The oil doesnt smell burnt or anything.

Thanks for all the help
