Anyone running Luberfiner LFP780XL full flow oil filters?

I have a friend who owns a 2000 3500 series RAM 4x4 (DRW) with a 5.9 (24 valve) and a NV4500 5 speed transmission. He wants to know if a NV5600 6 speed transmission from a 2005 3500 series will bolt right up to the 5.9 or are there other complications such as drive shaft lengths or transfer case retention? Thanks
