Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) transmission switch

I am wondering if anyone has had this happen to a 97 4x4 12v and after installing the switch and jumper wire and as soon as you hit the switch the wait to start light comes on. The TC lockup is working great but im a little concerned about the light bieng on.











97 Ext Cab Leather, 4x4 green, 5" Exhaust. Piers Inj Pump. 370 Inj, Auto Meter pod, Home Built Custom Ram Air Induction with my Custom cold Air Intake and filter. Love eating fords

You have the wrong orange and black wire. . there are two in that loom and I tapped the wrong one and got the light also. Went back and tapped the other one and the lock up works great now.
