I've got an 04 HO w/ boost, egt, and transmission temp gauges. The boost and egt are Banks' and the transmission temp is the mechanical gauge from Westach that senses from the dipstick.
My problem is that the gauge will quit working intermittenly. It will register a temp, then go to zero. Sometimes it seems like the needle "floats. " I mean, it will read what appears to be an average temp, then when I accelerate it will drop to zero and come back up again.
I've checked the ground and it is solid. Could my power source be throwing some interference to the gauge? Could it just be a bad gauge?
Hope this issue hasn't been beat to death already.
Thanks,
