Transmission temp gauge

I want to put a temp gauge on my automatic transmission now which one works the best and where do you hook It up on the transmission. Never done this before.

Call either DTT or Scott @ Mass Diesel. There is a cooler replacement line that will allow you to install a temperature sender inline. The temperture reading that you will get is from the conveter as fuild drains out and heads for the coolers. You could also install the probe in the pan. As to your question, replacing the cooler line will give you the best reading... . right from the source(converter).
