jimb52,
DC has a replacement line that has a trans. sender port for your temp gauge thermo coupler. Call Blair at 877-511-5599 and order part #5011244AA. Also, ask for the fitting to replace the anti drain back valve in the heat exchanger. The cost is about $75 w/ $10-11 freight. Do a search for some good install advice. There have been a lot of post on this one.

Call Blair - super nice guy. He helped me and also got me a Mopar Performance trans pan. I think the line goes FROM the torque convertor TO the cooler. The temp will be the highest your trans sees - which is what you would want to monitor. Good luck.

I like to jump in a say that Blair was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful at providing us TDR guys a good price.

Blair, My gauge takes its reading from a sensor on the end of my transmission dipstick. Is this a decent reading?

The pan reading is good in the sense that you know what you fluid temp is that you are feeding your trans, but you don't know what it is at it's hottest point.
