Attention: TDR Forum Junkies My 99 threw a code Monday... ..... P072OM (Low output speed sensor above 15mph). The transmission then had late and/or irregular shifts. Low power/low speed shifts were near normal but med/high power shifts were delayed to as high as 3200RPM.
I purchased and installed a new sensor in the differential (it snapped crisply into place) and cleared the code with my code reader. The next day I did a test drive and the "Check Engine" light reappeared and the symptoms are the same.
Any ideas folks? I paid close attention to the sensor/plug connection and I feel it's OK. I'm stumped. :{
