im looking for a governor solinoid. i changed the fluid and filter yesterday and pulled the valve body and turned up the pressures 2 1/2 turns and opened up the hole for the t/c lockup. it all went back together just fine, but now i have no 1st or 4 th. i checked the pressure at the governor port and im seeing full line pressure, which tells me the governor solinoid could be bad. im looking for someone close to me in ohio that may have one i could get asap. doesnt do any good not being able to drive the truck. please help.
 
i got it, it was the lock up harness... replaced both governor and transducer and that didnt fix it like i thought. replaced the lock up harness and all is ok. man the trans now really holds the power. wire taps next.

CEpp, if you are going to bomb your weak link is going to be torque converter and if you upgrade it, you will have to do a value body upgrade as well to hold the power.
 
my pressures in the trans are upped and my lock up pressure has doubled, i can now hold 1/5 on the comp box at wot in lockup without a shutter. i know the trans will need to be replaced and it eventually will, just wanna take the next step.
