I can't afford to replace the whole transmission from DTT, or ATS like I would like to, so what can I replace myself that will make it hold my setup? Like the Valve body, TC, etc... . I have: 2001, 47RE, HO w/DDII's, Edge Drag Comp, AFE Mega Cannon, 4" exhaust and guages.

Thanks, Ron

I had the same setup you have on a 2000 dually auto and went with Pro Loc (Suncoast). Their triple lock converter and valvebody and have had no trouble at all. Since then I have upgraded even more and still holding good. I am in the 450 HP range. Hope this helps.

That helps alot. I don't know what those parts you mentioned cost, but it has to be alot less than 3k for a transmission. Thanks, Again.

Had Goerends put a transmission in my truck, which they built, today. Driven a tad over 200mi with it, so far. All I can say is, WOW! Made a HUGE difference. Got the full transmission and 3 disk t/c. It'll really set you in the seat now. :D

They are worth a looking into. So far, it has FAR exceeded any expectations I had.

What is the approx, cost of a setup like that? I want a bit more zap but don't want to ruin the transmission as it is my work truck. I ma basically happy with the truck when empty but then when all the tools go in it drags. Thanks!

I was out of town this weekend and didn't get the PM. Try to e-mail me.
