transmission Upgrades?

Alrighty then, I now have a BullyDog programer with Crazy Larry on my rig Oo. , I am pretty sure transmission will not hold up to long, what are the definate upgrades I need for it. Thanks

Valve body and TC upgrades at a minimum, but this is only so if the present condition of your trans is in great condition, and you believing it is doesn't count.

I just finished doing the same thing..... Transgo S/K as well as a Billet Combo Kit by TCC (Dual Ring Servo and Accumulator Piston, Band Lever, Band Strut and Band Anchor)

I'd recommend Goerend. I recently had my trans on my 98 12ver rebuilt by a certified goerend shop here in MA and MAN is it nice. It has their triple disk converter and a bunch of their upgrades. It sincerely is a night and day difference. And I gained about 2 MPGs while keeping her steady at 1750 rpms I'm at 21. 5 MPG.

Goerend! You truly won't understand just how gross the stock trans is until you have a built one from Dave! Of all my mods, the trans was the best!

if you don't mind me asking, what did the trans set you back? and what did you get? do you have to send him yours to rebuild or just send it back as a core? once you install it yourself is there any programing required?

can this be installed with trans in truck? how big of a job is it and what benefits will it give you? my 06 trans is in pretty good shape now with 52k on it. but i'm sure that won't last. if this will keep it alaive a bit longer that would be great. what about a converter?

The price is listed on the website I believe 3700, I added the flexplate insert, should get it installed Tuesday or Wednesday have exhaust manifold leak issues also so installing pyro guage will let everyone know as soon as finished

You can't go wrong with Dave's re-build - - I'm still amazed
at what the rebild on my 01 did for the truck!!! Great Choice!

Got my Goerend transmission in and I can feel the difference, gave up crazy larry program for bully dog guage tuner and am very pleased with it also Thanks to Dave and bunch in Goerend, If anyone in Northwest AR needs installation we can do it, Techs even like installing tuner and test it out
