Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Transmission Woes

Hey all,



Serviced the auto transmission in my 2000. Adjusted bands, filter, fluid. Level is good. Now shifts like a bugger. On test drive, put in reverse and delay, then hard into reverse. While driving stopped at a stop sign. Went to accelerate and nothing, just reved the engine, delay, then started to move.



Did I screw up this service? I have ordered the transmission speed sensor from Genos...



I have now disconnected the batteries and will reset the APPS...



Any ideas?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Leave the bands alone unless you are having trouble, whit it seems you are now.

Thanks anyway. Fluid was airlocked.

Yes, low fluid level!

Check it warm, running in neutral, on level ground.

Bring it to the top of the hash marks.

Yes definately... . and now that the B&M Drain Plug ordered from Genos is installed... . much easier fluid changes!
