Ive held out long enough ... LOL

This is the first winter for the 5. 0 Kick down , the SC triple and SC HD VB , And when its cold out and the truck is below operating temp and I put it in Drive it Die's

If I stop at "R" for about 30 seconds then put it in "D" it helps but has still died . .

I have remote start ,,,,, the truck wont die going into "R" but it does bog down ...

With the remote start it helps to have it a little warm before you get out there but it has still dies after 10 Mins Warm up .

Called my transmission shop and told them I think my pressures are TOO HIGH .

Going to drop it off TUES PM and will find out WEDS what they found out ...

May have to drop out the Sun Coast VB and turn it to a more reasonable Pressure level as when it shifts now IT DONT MESS AROUND

But in colder weather its a PITA .

Another plan of attack I had was to get the cold weather Reflash on the ECM to up my idle RPM ,,,,, This would Mask the isssue but not fix it .

Lets see how much $$$ this is going to cost

New Rims And Tires are suppose to be here Wed or Thurs Hope I have a truck to put them on

:-laf

I don't think your pressures are too high. The pressures are more for holding power, than apply speed. You could play with your TPS and try to rotate it some people have had limited success with bumping the idle up just a hair by doing this.

You mean APPS ?? I reset it and it dont help ... Ill clean my IAT and see if that helps

Im Not running my OEM ECM ?? Could that cause this ???

DM

I cleaned the IAT it wasnt even dirty

#ad

Didnt change anything trucks been plugged in all night its 45* out I turned the key on WTS came on for a few seconds then fired it up ... . put it in "D" and it plumeted and almost died ... Idels at like 800 and drops to like 400-0 when put in "D"

I put it in "N" held it to 1000 rpm put it in "D" and it almost barked the tires

Ive been on this baord for a while now and have asked this very question 3 times and have jumped on every one else who is complaining about its threads and still no one knows ???

Wrong ECM ???

VP44 Dieing ??

LP bad pusher good ????

I have 15 PSI at idel and 20 at prolonged idle my FP gauge dont move at WOT 5x5 ... here are my mod's

I think there is some adjustment(i. e you can rotate the TPS somewhat) to pick up a little on the RPM. Some of the guys running the oversize injector lines had to do this to help with idling issues.

Well just got off the phone with Sun Coast.

They say its the Lock up solenoid screen (its plugged) and not letting the thicker fluid threw. (when its Cold)

They also told me to have them check the Govener solenoid to make sure its working properly

and TV Stop bolt for adjustment . .

Another TECH FACT that Sun Coast has given me the "Hunting" of the transmission between 2nd and 3rd is normal this is where it cant decide what gear to go into ... ...

This happens @ 6 MPH Stock and DC has not been able to find a fix for it ... .

With the Suncoast This happens at 14 MPH and can be adjusted to a diffrent MPH to end the annoyance .

My trucks still doing this Even worst with the haisleys what do I do to kleep it from just about dieing going into gear ???????????????????????????????????

ECM was all ready at the latest software program ect... .

Im just flat out hosed

Called suncoast they want to change my converter from 1900 RPM stall 91% 443D to +300-400 RPM 193D

And wont garentee that it will fix it

WTF

I cant belevae out of 50,000 people that Im the only one thats ever had this problem ????
