how do you tell if you have a nv 3500 or nv 4500? I should know what I have in my 1996 2500 that I have owned for 13 years

Thanks for the help, that is what I thought... . but just wanted some back up. I lost all my truck records on my retirement move from the Army. Can't remember things like I used to.

You can also ask a dealer to print out a 'build sheet' for you truck. Most will do it for free. It will list all major components and part numbers that went into your truck.
