HI ALL,I HAVE A 98. 5 AND I WANT TO START BOMBING HER OUT ,BUT IM NOT TO SURE IF THE AUTOMATIC transmission WILL HOLD UP. WHAT I WAS THINKING OF WAS GAUGES #1 THEN EZ BOX AND 275 INJECTORS? I HAVE ALREADY GONE STRAIGHT PIPES AND AMSOIL AIR FILTER,SILENCER RING IS OUT AND SNORKEL IS GONE OFF THE STOCK AIR BOX. SOME FEEDBACK FROM OTHER AUTO transmission TRUCK OWNERS WITH THIS TYPE SET UP WOULD BE APPRICIATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE. NICK

EZ on mine......

I have the EZ on mine and it works fine. My truck is 10k GVW with the utility bed. If it can take that I'm sure a regular truck would be no problem. I did talked to Bill K. though and was told that's about the limit. Injectors are too much without the transmission upgrades.



I heard that the upgrades you'll feel like you bombed it, in that you are putting more of your usable HP to the ground. If I had it to do again I would have done the transmission upgrades first.



Saving up now and then injectors too

Do the gauges 1st, including transmission temp gauge. .



Next speak with Bill K. Get his VB and TC and he sells the boxes too. . But depending on what you will doing with the truck (type of driving) and what bombing you will do or have done..... Bill sets the VB up and recommends which TC...

So you may want to bomb 1st and be VERY nice to the transmission and make sure all the bombing is working. Once it is, tell Bill K. what you've done and he'll set you up.
