Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Transmissions; to lubeguard or not to lubeguard, that is the question?

I was told it is not a good Idea to use the transmission additive Lubeguard in our transmissions for the Ram trucks, does anyone know for sure?

It all depends on which color bottle you pick



Red or Black

I didn't know it came in a black bottle, have only seen the red bottle, which states it is for transmissions.



So what is each bottle used for, the black and the red?
