Cripes! My truck was completed May 2nd and still hasn't arrived at the dealership! (Built in St. Louis). Is this normal? Are they walking it over to me or what?

Do you have a UP railcar number? I can tell you where its at. ( I am assuming its going UP). I work for them, so get me the railcar number and I can tell ya whats up with it.

Thanks for the offer! Its no longer on a railcar: I was told last week that it was in the L. A. yard awaiting assignment to a transporter. Geez... the dang thing has been sitting probably within 20 minutes of me and I can't get to it! This must be some cruel test of willpower!

When I ordered mine, a friend also had one ordered from a different dealer. They showed to have shipped the same day. His came in and a week later mine was still not here. Come to find out the transport truck mine was on broke down. Instead of sending another transport they just let it sit. Hope this does not happen to you.

I was told later (by another salesperson) that my truck sat in the dealership for 3 days before they called me... .

Back when I ordered my '97, a buddy of mine ordered one identical to mine except for the color. We ordered them at the same dealer, on the same day, at the same time. They showed to have arrived by railcar to the Houston "holding yard" at the same time and were waiting for a transporter to deliver them to the dealer.

However, his showed up at our dealer's lot eight days AFTER mine. He was not a happy person. Especially with me rubbing it in by driving it to work every day (we worked at the same place too). Plus, when mine showed up I had him take me to the dealer to pick it up. I thought our salesman was going to have to hire a bodyguard. #ad
