Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) trany temp location

does any one know where i can put the sending unit for my transmission temp in the nv4500 i got a 98 so does my buddy and he has burned up 2 trannys so i rather be safe then sorry thanks yall

geno's sells a b&m drain plug so you are able to monitor your transmission temp...

The easiest way is to replace the fill plug with a pipe bushing, there is plenty of oil splash to get an accurate reading.

If the oil is drained you can weld a fitting in one of the PTO covers.

Another option is a set of Fastcoolers, they come with sender ports and also add nearly 2 quarts of oil.
