Trany temp sending unit

Can anyone help me, I want to put a temp gauge on my trany. Is there a spot to put the sending unit or do I drill one in someware Thanks Mike

satmike there are two ways to do this that I know of without having to drill any holes. First buy Mag-Hytec's transmission pan, it comes drilled and tapped for a 1/8 npt sending unit. Second remove the factory sending unit thats in the trans. output line add a 1/4 npt tee(it's like a regular tee but has 1 male end and two female ends) NAPA carries these then install both sending units.
