so I'm searching around and I come across something unrelated to my original search but interesting non the less.

put in 7000#'s
99mph trap
and it tells me I need 530hp to do that.
How many people have dyno'ed on a real good load dyno a number and have the that HP number match a trap speed at the track? or even come with in 2mph and 50hp of those numbers?
Even at 97mph it's 498hp. 95 = 460
I have to get to a 1/4 mile track before it's to cold!
I do realize the dyno's I've been on have been to light (rollers) to even put a good sized load on my stock turbo's truck. but 420hp only? that's like 100hp off assuming I can manage 99mph in a 1/4 (something the edge box said I could do... )
