Hammersley - I worked at the Lockheed Marietta, Georgia facility for many years and my friends that worked the F-22 assembly line and support organizations told me that the F-22 canopies were the absolute worst to assemble and fit. Each transparency always varied and the mating frames, CNC machined were tough to fit and get through the stringent inspection process. We were always expending extra effort to get these units right. I always wondered if the transparency moved around after exposed to the rigors of flight and the elements.
