Traveling to May Madness.

Steve, I'm placing this here because it deals with May Madness, but move it if you feel it necessary.

I'm leaving North Dallas on the 20th. I'll be heading up through Amarillo in the pan handle of Texas, and the getting on I-40 trough New Mexico and Arizona, and then up through Las Vegas and into Carson City. Does anybody have any advice for my trip? Speed traps to look out, bad roads, anything like that.

I'm taking two and a half days to make the trip so I don't have to rush, but anything to make sure the ride is smooth would be appreciated.

If you haven't been out this way before you might want to consider staying on I40 until you get to US395 and take that to Minden. MUCH more scenic drive.

I am leaving this morning. Will be travling north up Hwy 395. Lots to see and do along the way. I plan to stop at the Alabama Hills, and the Ancient Brislecone Pine Forest along the way. Also a night on the south shore of Mono Lake.

Thanks for the info Joe. My map does not show I-40 going all the way to US395. The map is a 96 edition so I need to update.

Actually, I-40 stops at Barstow. State route 58 to Mojave is the one to take to get to US395. Just a few miles.

You may be experiencing detonation with your computer which you should be able to detect via an error code search. If the error code search proves unfruitful then decrease the propane regulator pressure and install a smaller nitrous orifice, then reload the matrix format for reconfig BOMB mapping to allow the equilibreum to allocate a similiar and commensurate digitalis response.
