That sucks!

Sorry to hear that... . What are the chances of a tree falling on it? Was it during a storm, or was the tree just dead and decided to fall over?

Do you have any pics of this sad event? I would be interested in seeing them..... ;)

That is almost as bad as a guy who had a brand new D-max parked on the street where I was working during amajor storm a tree fell over up against the power pole and eventually the pole gave way along with 5 others that went down the block out of 10 cars his new with no plates truck was the only one that got hit BY THE TRANSFORMER! big time dame to roof and rest of front end felt real bad for him even though it was a beer can sucks for anyone sorry to hear about your troubles.

A guy I know had his car out in his yard for sale. An electric wire fell on it, arced and started a fire. The whole car burned up while the fire department stood right there and watched. They didn't even try to save it. No insurance on the car either as he was trying to sell it.

A good buddy of my got rear ended by a big pine tree!

There he was driving along minding his own business (in reverse) when WHAM, that dang tree rear ended him :>)

At least you were not in it when the tree fell. A couple were driving thru Grizzly Creek Redwoods Park during a storm some years ago. A redwood fell on their car and smashed the whole thing flat to the ground.

take it to the dealer the way it is, with the insurance check. If they have a body shop they will be more then willing to take it off your hands.

Even if they don't have a body shop they still might go for the deal. They will have the truck sold before it even leaves the body shop.

Sorry, have no way to post pics. Close to 12k in damage. Shop says it will look better than when i picked it up new. IE: all seams, will be aligned and truck will be completely repainted and will shine better than new. thats the only good news so far. I will not be able to drive it till the end of june..... rats. thanks for the commissurations.
